We present an overview of our modeling and simulations of the phase separation of binary mixtures (AB) in contact with a surface which has a preferential attraction for one of the components of the mixture. It is particularly relevant to understand the delicate dynamical interplay of the wetting layer at the surface and phase separation in the bulk.
