Application of Chebyshev and Legendre polynomials on discrete point set to function interpolation and solving Fredholm integral equations Original Research Article

The theory of function interpolation, based on the use of Chebyshev and Legendre orthogonal polynomials on a discrete point set, is suggested. Based on this theory, an effective method of solving of Fredholm linear integral equations of the first and second kind is obtained.
