Numerical computation of Lyapunov exponents in discontinuous maps implicitly defined Original Research Article

This paper describes some numerical techniques to compute the Lyapunov exponents of discontinuous maps implicitly defined. Special attention is paid to the case of maps generated by stick-slip systems but the techniques presented in the paper are applicable to wider classes of maps.
