Abstract :
An object-oriented approach is used to deal with some cases of non-linear advection-diffusion equation. The simulation model can be used with explicit finite-difference schemes. Two types of techniques based on iterations and on the analogue linear case solution (global maximum) are coded and tested. It is demonstrated how the system works for a numerical experiment on the case of Burgerʹs equation. In this framework, a tool for a nested grid with a zeroth-order interpolation scheme is carried out with the inheritance feature. The software has been implemented in C++ with an appropriate user interface.
