Abstract :
We have presented in the first part of this work (denoted by Part I) a study of the oscillation of a small charge separation at a plasma edge. In view of the sensitivity of this problem, this paper presents results obtained using two other methods recently published for the solution of the kinetic Vlasov equation, namely the cubic interpolation propagator method, and the flux conserving scheme method. For the problem we are studying both methods show the presence of important numerical diffusion compared to the results of Part I.
