Abstract :
By constructing successive unitary transformations, we have solved the time-dependent Schrödinger equation for an electron gas under a quantizing magnetic field and an intense laser. This wavefunction is then employed to calculate the electronic Greenʹs function, polarizability and the dynamic dielectric function. We have computed the frequency and intensity dependent dielectric functions and the spectrum of collective excitations of an electron gas under an intense terahertz radiation. The results show the effect of various multiphoton processes.
