Constructing ground state configurations of lattice polymers Original Research Article

In this work we show how to generate ground state configurations of two-dimensional lattice polymers with nearest-neighbor pair interactions between nonbonded monomers. We describe a number of traps that have to be avoided, and how to randomize the configuration.
