Shaping and fairing of tubular B-spline surfaces Original Research Article

A technique for shaping tubular surfaces is described, which solves the problems of boundary control and first order continuous surface fitting. The presented method determines control points of the tensor product B-spline function describing the surface corresponding given boundary conditions and a fairness criterion.
