Geometric conditions for G3 continuity of surfaces Original Research Article

This paper gives (necessary and sufficient) geometric conditions for G3 continuity of surfaces. These conditions are based on the G2 continuity of characteristic surface curves, namely lines of curvature. Furthermore, the curvature of the lines of curvature is used for visualizing continuity properties of surfaces.
