Shape preserving F3 curve interpolation Original Research Article

A local shape preserving curve interpolation scheme in R3 which allows local modification of the curve is derived. A piecewise rational quartic Bézier curve which is F3 continuous is used to pass through the given sequence of data points. A formula for the approximation of torsion based on the given data points is also presented.
