Abstract :
Nanocrystals of MgO and NiO/MgO were prepared based on a modified citrate precursor technique. The transmission electron microscopy (TEM), X-ray diffraction (XRD), and Brunauer–Emmet–Teller (BET) methods were used. Results show that the powders possess high surface area of 230 m2/g and controllable particle sizes from 5 to 20 nm.
