Polystyrene-supported poly(amidoamine) dendrimer–manganese complex: Synthesis, characterization and catalysis Original Research Article

A novel polymer-supported heterogeneous oxidation catalyst is reported. Manganese complexes of polystyrene-supported poly(amidoamine) dendrimer were prepared, characterized and used as catalysts for oxidation of secondary alcohols. The catalysts showed high stability and efficiency under various reaction conditions and with different substrates. The catalysts can be recycled.
