How Taxol® stabilises microtubule structure

The structure of tubulin shows paclitaxel (Taxol®) binding to a pocket in β tubulin on the microtubuleʹs inner surface, which counteracts the effects of GTP hydrolysis occurring on the other side of the monomer.
