Manufacturing errors modelling: two three-dimensional approaches

In the context of manufacturing tolerancing, this paper presents two approaches of threedimensional machining simulation. The first one uses a computer aided design (CAD) model to extract geometrical data needed by the small displacement torsor model of manufacturing errors. The second one uses a CAD\CAM (computer aided manufacturing) system to virtually manufacture the part by integrating the manufacturing errors
