Abstract :
Genre in a Changing World is a collection of twenty four papers selected from the Fourth International Symposium on Genre Studies (SIGET IV) held in the campus of UNISUL in Tubar?o, Santa Catarina, Brazil in 2007. The papers have been chosen from the over 400 presentations and represent works from different countries including Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Finland, France, Portugal, the United Kingdom, and the United States. The authors claim that the book is a remarkable source that represents the current range of work on genre and introduces new dynamic era of theoretical reformulation, research, and application.
