Interdependencies between contact traces in a multi-point conjugation joint

The interdependencies between contact traces on the discrete conjugate surfaces in a multi-point conjugation joint are investigated. The equations relating these contact traces with one another and with the curvature (curving) of the conjugate surfaces are derived. The restrictions on the validity of the Euler–Savary equation are deduced.
