Calculation of instantaneous radiation characteristics using the wavelet transform

To overcome the disadvantage of short time Fourier transform, the wavelet transform, which is very promising for analyzing non-stationary signals, was introduced by J. Morlet. In this paper, a new numerical calculation method for estimating the instantaneous radiation pattern by using the harmonic wavelet transform for a rectangular vibrating plate is presented.
