Precision cutting of optical polymer components for bioengineering applications

A complex systematic approach to the highly effective precision cutting of optical polymer materials has been proposed, being based on the cutting mechanics, the physical description of the machining process, and the quality of the polymer optical components. The joint R and D works are continued within the frame work of an INCO-COPERNICUS project (MINOS).
