Infiltration of the metal through a bundle of continual fibers

In this paper an interesting technical problem is solved concerning, in particular, composites with a metallic matrix and with continuous strengthening fibres. The problem concerns the metal transport liquid condition using a pressure-different inlet and outlet. An attempt to analyse the bonding between the fibres and the metallic matrix is made. A special heat treatment was applied to the composite with the aim of decreasing the heterogeneity of the matrix.
