Abstract
The component-based technology with Internet-enable feature already available on the market creates possibility of CAM transformation from a monolithic to component-based architecture, which opens new perspectives in CAM development and adapting software to new forms of manufacturing processes organisation and supporting SMEs in manufacturing process preparation.
