ALSTOM Hellas experience on power and distribution transformers

Magnetic materials and application of these in industry is a very important subject for study and discussion. In industry, one of the most important applications of magnetic steel is the core construction for power and distribution transformers. In this article we try to transfer our experience about the use of magnetic materials in core construction and we give also a small reference to the most important quality tests of this material before we use it in the production line.
