A note on the stresses of the ship lock of the Gezhouba project

This paper briefly introduces the research results of stress analysis on the low-down gate bay of the No. 1 ship lock of Gezhouba with the three-dimensional photoelasticity method: also this paper examines the gravity dams located at the soft ground base.
