Abstract :
In the production field, burr generation is a serious problem. So far, in order to minimize the generation of burr, various approaches have been tried, such as improving the cutting condition, the tool shape, and so on. In this paper, a new fine-scrape (FS) cutter [] is used in order to minimize the generation of burr during machining. As a result, the FS cutter has been found to improve productivity, and it is a better tool to reduce the burr generation in the high-speed and high-feed cutting operation.
