Identification of rheological parameters on the basis of various types of plastometric tests

Axisymmetric compression and plane-strain compression tests have been performed on specimens of carbon–manganese steel containing 0.17% of carbon. Load–displacement relationships were monitored for each test and the inverse analysis method used to determine the material flow stress for constant strain rate.
