Newtonian flow in an inter-meshing counter-rotating twin screw extruder

A numerical simulation of flow and pumping characteristics in an inter-meshing counter-rotating twin screw extruder is presented. The numerical procedure uses cylindrical coordinates and the flow analysis network (FAN) procedure. Applications are made to elements of a Leistritz inter-meshing counter-rotating twin screw extruder.
