Abstract :
Thermodynamic analyses of the different systems, SiC–diamond, Si3N4–diamond and Al2O3–diamond, at 1800 °C and under pressure of 8 GPa were carried out. “Sandwich” type samples with diamond–ceramic layers were prepared in diamond stable conditions using high pressure and temperature apparatus. Good agreement between theoretical calculations of chemical equilibrium in these systems and the results of experimental interaction studies was obtained. The results can be used in the diamond compact and composite sintering production of diamond films on ceramic substrates.
