Abstract :
According to the characteristics that the processes of casting and plastic deforming are highly mixed in fast roll casting, to carry on comprehensive modeling of multi-subjects, such as heat-transfer, mechanic, material science, rheology and friction science, etc., to set up a multi-physical fields coupled simulating system, such as the flowing and temperature field of the molten metal into the casting tip, the metal rheology temperature field and the stress field and so on. Using an industrial roll caster to carry out whole-processes experiments, the relative parameters are collected and handled, and the experimental results and the simulating data are compared and analyzed, such analysis leading to an understanding of the characteristics of fast roll casting.
