Integration concept of CAM system and tool diagnostic system in optimisation of machining processes

Dynamic development of new materials creates the need of searching of new methods of their machining and machining parameters selection. From the other side, a great changeability of manufacturing environment (machine tools, cutting tools, etc.) enforce arranging preliminary cutting tests as close as possible to real customer conditions, i.e. applied workpiece material, cutting tools, etc. Development of tool diagnostic system and CAM system forms a new possibility of solving that problem by integration of above-mentioned systems.
