Autonomous track geometry diagnostics system

The paper presents the background of the diagnostic analysis for railways and trams (DART), automatic diagnostic analysis tool for the track geometry measurement data—as separate track data files or track data read from the database. The diagnostic module indicates the “weak locations” in the track, which can be further analysed in detail by the diagnostician. DART track diagnosticianʹs computer assistance system helps to save some 90–95% of labour consumption. All software mentioned in the paper has been developed within the framework of the project.
