Preparation of SrS:Eu, Sm and its photostimulated luminescence

The SrS:Eu, Sm powder was prepared by wetting-method in a reducing atmosphere. The influences of synthesize conditions, such as heating temperature and fired time, on properties of samples were studied. XRD analysis shows that crystal structure of SrS was formed at 750 °C. Spectrum analysis results show that the sample which was stimulated by 980 nm laser after exposing to ultraviolet lamp emits luminescence which is located at 599 nm.
