  • Abstract
Meshing in simulation of electromagnetic force and the choice of evaluating parameters of simulation results in electromagnetic forming of sheet were discussed. The results show that the regular progressive meshing is more appropriate due to the skin effect and the density of electromagnetic force is more rational to evaluate the simulation results of electromagnetic force than the electromagnetic force and the electromagnetic pressure. As electromagnetic force is body force, the manner of meshes seriously affects the results of electromagnetic force externalized by the change of the range and the position of force. The electromagnetic pressure is affected by the element dimension along the thickness of sheet, which is not appropriate to evaluate simulation result when the element dimension along the thickness of sheet is inconsistent.
