An extension of a two-shell solvable model to include two collective excitations Original Research Article

A simple extension of the two-shell Lipkin model includes two types of collective oscillations, isoscalar and isovector, described by the same Hamiltonian. This may offer additional opportunities to compare various approaches to the many-body problem with the exact solution of the model.
