Abstract :
The present status of CMS, one of the major experimental facilities at the future LHC is presented. After a short description of the detector and its constituents, the main physics goals and performances of the experiment (Higgs, Supersymmetry, B-Physics) is presented with emphasis on B-physics. Detailed examples are given on sin2β measurement in B-physics, using the channel Bdo, View the MathML source and tagging strategies are reviewed.
