Abstract :
A quark–meson coupling model based on View the MathML source symmetry and scale invariance is proposed. We apply this chiral SU(3) quark mean-field model to investigate strange hadronic matter including Λ, Σ and Ξ hyperons. With the symmetry-breaking term, all the hyperon potentials are reasonable. The effective baryon masses, binding energy and hyperon ratios are discussed with four types of confining potentials.
