Near-wake behaviour of wind turbines

For studies of the flow downstream wind turbines, the initial state of the flow is of importance. In this study the flow generated by a wind turbine has been calculated. The purpose is to study how a logarithmic wind profile and yaw, modifies the initial state. For validation of the model, measurements from the Alsvik wind farm are used. © 1999 Elsevier Science Ltd.
