Effective one-boson-exchange potential for ΛN and ΣN systems and hypertriton Original Research Article

Ehime OBEP for ΛN and ΣN coupled systems is presented which uses the SU(3) invariant framework for pseudoscalar, scalar and vector nonet mesons and also uses additional elements: σ, κ, Ω and P. Those elements violate the SU(3) invariance. σ and κ represent effective scalar mesons which embody the View the MathML source and View the MathML source correlations, while Ω and P do effective multimeson states with the quantum numbers of ω and ρ mesons, respectively. The data for ΛN and ΣN observables as well as hypertriton binding energy are reproduced. The Ehime results are compared with the Nijmegen (SC97f) ones and discriminating points are discussed.
