Abstract :
A systematic study of the forward-angle production of nuclei with 2⩽Z⩽11 induced in nucleus–nucleus collisions of 18O with 9Be and 181Ta in the Fermi energy domain (35 AMeV) has been performed. The reaction products were measured by using the double achromatic fragment-separator COMBAS in the spectrometry mode. The inclusive velocity, the isotopic and element distributions were measured. The dominant role of low-energy reaction mechanisms is observed.
