Using the recently proposed ggη′ effective vertex, we investigate the production of η′ from gluon fusion in polarized pp collisions. We show that by measuring ALL in η′ production, one can extract the polarized gluon distribution ΔG(x,Q2) at View the MathML source and in a wide range of x.
