Abstract :
Cross sections and reaction rates of (γ,n) reactions have been measured close above threshold with the photoactivation technique. The experimental data for 186W, 190,192,198Pt, 196,198,204Hg, 197Au, and 204Pb show good agreement with theoretical predictions.
