Determination of (n,γ) reaction rates at s-process branching points via their inverse reactions Original Research Article

We present our method to determine the (n,γ) reaction rates of s-process branching point nuclei using data of the inverse (γ,n) reaction. As an example, we selected 95Zr. The analysis of the data of the reaction 96Zr(γ,n)95Zr is still in progress. Therefore, we describe the characteristics of this reaction and first preliminary results.
