Abstract :
The first measurements of longitudinal momentum distribution for two-proton removal from17Ne interacting with a Be target at 60A MeV are reported. The observed narrow width of the distribution (FWHM = 168±17 MeV/c) is suggestive of a two-proton halo in this nucleus.
