238U–nucleon–nucleus optical potential up to 200 MeV Original Research Article

Nucleon optical model potential for 238U is obtained. Rigid rotator coupled channel model reproduces experimental neutron total cross section data up to 200 MeV and produce the reaction cross section energy dependence in the range up to 200 MeV, suitable for the Hauser–Feshbach and pre-equilibrium model calculations of neutron- and proton-induced fission cross sections.
