Abstract :
The light-front dynamics (LFD) plays an important role in the analyses of few-body systems as evidenced from the recent phenomenology covering both inclusive and exclusive processes. We discuss a few fundamental issues of LFD that should be taken into account for the phenomenological applications. Using distinguished features of LFD, we obtain completely model-independent constraints for the light-front helicity amplitudes and present the consequences of these constraints in typical spin-system analyses such as in the elastic deuteron form factors and the N-Δ transition form factors. We also note the possible zero-mode complication in the form factor calculation of few-body systems and present a way of avoiding such complications.
