Diffraction at High Energy from past to future Original Research Article

We first recall the classical “t-channel” vs. “s-channel” approaches to soft high energy diffraction. We then mention Hard Diffraction and its relation to QCD and some aspects of factorisation breaking at Hera and the Tevatron. Finally we discuss Central Diffractive Production of dijets, with its possible future application to diffractive Higgs production at the LHC.
