Abstract :
Both experimental and theoretical progress in strangeness nuclear physics during the last three years after the Hyp-X conference held in Tokai, Japan, is reviewed based on the presentations in the HYP2012 conference in Barcelona, Spain. Highlights of the conference are picked up in my personal view. In addition, the future perspectives are briefly discussed.
