J-PARC Program Overview Original Research Article

J-PARC (Japan Proton Accelerator Research Complex) is now entering into the new phase of its operation. From December of 2008 the neutron and muon facilities will be available to users of the J-PARC facility. In January or February of 2009 the kaon facility will be open and in April of 2009 the neutrino facility will start to operate. This MW facility will create a new era in particle and nuclear physics in addition to materials and life sciences. In this talk I would like to review the current status of this J-PARC.
