Strangeness Production in Heavy-Ion Collisions at STAR Original Research Article

We report an overview of strangeness production in Cu+Cu and Au+Au collisions at the energies View the MathML source and 200 GeV. We show new mid-rapidly dN/dy results for the View the MathML source, Λ, Ξ, Ω particles in Cu+Cu View the MathML source collisions and compare to results in Au+Au View the MathML source collisions. We show new results for mid-pTView the MathML source ratios in Cu+Cu View the MathML source collisions and again compare to ratios in Au+Au View the MathML source collisions. Finally, we show the high-pT (∼6.2 GeV/c) View the MathML source as a function of system size in Au+Au View the MathML source collisions and compare to RAA(π).
