Abstract
The results on J/ψ spectra in p+p and Cu+Cu collisions at View the MathML source at STAR with transverse momenta in the range of 5-14 GeV/c and 5-8 GeV/c, respectively, are presented. Yields in minimum-bias Cu+Cu collisions at high pT are found to be consistent with the binary collision-scaled cross section in p+p collisions, in contrast to previous measurements at lower pT. The first measurement of azimuthal correlations of J/ψ with charged hadrons at RHIC provides an estimate of the contribution of B-hadron decays to J/ψ production of 13%±5% at pT>5GeV/c in p+p collisions at View the MathML source.
