Abstract
In the Japan Proton Accelerator Research Complex (J-PARC), many experiments which utilize its intense beam are proposed and approved. Especially, activities on hadrons and nuclei with strangeness are playing a leading role. This can be seen in the list of particle and nuclear physics experiments approved by J-PARC. As of September 2009, 11 experiments related to nuclei and hadrons with strangeness are approved (out of 13 proposed), while there are 17 experiments approved (23 proposed) in total. Namely, more than half of the approved experiments are for strangeness nuclear physics. In this article, planned experiments on strangeness nuclear physics, especially those on S=−2 systems, are overviewed.
