Abstract
Epoxy urethane acrylates were prepared from epoxy resins, acrylic acid and 4,4′-diphenylmethane diisocyanate using two-stage polymerization. The end result is more flexible and lower viscosity oligomers. The oligomer obtained was studied by IR spectra, 1H-NMR spectroscopy. This oligomer was cured using thermal treatment. All of the materials formed transparent films used for testing and thermal study by Thermally Stimulated Depolarization Currents. The low molecular weight of the oligomers results in low viscosity, making it possible to use these materials as solvent less coatings.
